Katy and Andy had their very intimate elopement at the beautiful Roulette Retreat, based in the Scottish Borders.

Roulette Retreat offered the perfect luscious to the day, with the sun blasting down on one of the hottest days of the 

year Katy and Andy must have bribed the Scottish Weather gods. The strong light brought out the landscape's 

natural cottagecore aesthetic and showed off what the Scottish countryside had to offer.

With only their closest family present it truly was the definition of intimate. Katy and Andy wanted to keep everything

as laid back and chilled as possible - after so many years and three children together it was clear how strong their bond 

was and this day marked a celebration of that time and their future. 

Being a photographer and embedding yourself into the couple's family dynamics and blending in means

becoming one of them. Katy and Andy welcomed me into their getting-ready cottage with open arms and I was able to 

capture all the beautiful moments that were quietly shared. 
 

My favourite part of the day was being able to escape for a while with Andy and Katy to capture their couple

portraits. Amongst the grass and trees, we were able to the truest essence of their love and perfect connection. With a blend of natural, editorial and documentary photography the perfect wedding album was formed.

and romantic day...
