"JOSIE WAS ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC FROM START TO FINISH. SHE WAS
AS FRIENDLY AND APPROACHABLE, WILSE SOMEHOW ALSO AMA MANAGING TO COMPLETELY FADE INTO THE BACKGROUND YO CAPTURE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CANDID MOMENTS WITHOUT ANYONE EVEN NOTICING SHE WAS THERE.
MOST IMPORTANTLY, THE PHOTOS EXCEEDED ALL OF OUR EXPECTATIONS. JOSIE CAPTURED THE ATMOSPHERE AND PERSONALITY OF THE DAY PERFECTLY, AND LOOKING THROUGH THE GALLERY GENUINELY FEELS LIKE RELIVING IT ALL OVER AGAIN. WE WOULD WHOLEHEARTEDLY RECCOMMEND HER TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR A PHOTOGRAPHER WHO IS BOTH INCREDIBLY ORGANISED AND GENUINELY LOVELY TO HAVE AROUND ON YOUR WEDDING DAY."
Jamie and Colin had a Star Wars (it was May 4th - of course) themed wedding at Assembly Roxy in Edinburgh.
The City Centre location provided a stunning backdrop for their special day, Edinburgh shines through in our couple portrait session where we worked around St Giles Catherdral - right beside the Royal Mile. Often Edinburgh can bit a crowded, to say the least, particularly on the weekends but the area we chose we were able to duck away from the franticness for a moment and enjoy the calm.
Jamie and Colin's laughs were highly infectious, having a prior relationship that was strengthed through catered 1-2-1 sessions with the two of them before the big day allowed me to fit the day to suit them and minimise any awkwardness.
Family pictures were taken with affection and care, capturing the bond between loved ones. Edinburgh City Centre has beautiful cobbled streets, that were perfect for Group Portraits and became it's own character on the big day.
Star Wars was present throughout Jamie and Colin's ceremony but favourite detail had to be their broaches as two mini Millennium Falcons. Non-Star Wars related but a shout out to both our Grooms' suits created by Highland Kilt Connections in an Earthy Green and Red that made both Grooms shine throughout the day.
Jamie and Colin truly are a match made in heaven, a wonderful couple who made the day for them and radiated so much love to everyone in the room.
