A romantic rolling mist had formed around Kirknewton House Stables ahead of Kim and Grieg's wedding. The weather might have caused stress for other parties, but not this lot. Instead, they decided to embrace it.
Kirknewton's regal house made this the setting for a classic romantic novel. Suddenly, it was like stepping onto the set of Pride and Prejudice - something of which I couldn't help exclaiming on several occasions. The historical features really brought this love story to life, and Kim's choice of dress harmonised perfectly with the lusciously floral surroundings.
As a photographer, I am striving to tell a story with every frame, and collate a gallery for my clients that isn't just authentic but aesthetically beautiful. Kim and Greig made this a dream for me by styling their venue with gorgeous decor and vendors that kept their guests entertained with never-fading smiles on their faces.
My favourite part of the day was the couple shoot. It was the perfect time to capture the love these two had built over the years into some curated frozen moments.
Throughout the day and in every frame, I aim to create stylish images that are documentary in style, capturing the essence of the day in a way that is both artistic and authentic.
